Larry Pogreba has built custom guitars for everyone from Keb Mo’ to Emmy Lou Harris. With each guitar unique, and never being one to stick to one design or even style of instrument for too long, Larry has had a long resume of extremely interesting, unique instruments that have no basis in any other brand or lineage.

This particular aluminum body resonator features a single spun cone with what looks to be a maple biscuit. The beautiful three piece neck is some sort of mahogany sandwich, with some nondescript but gorgeous hardwood as a center strip. The headstock overlay seems to be some sort of dark rosewood-esque veneer, as well as a similarly dark nondescript hardwood fretboard, probably a rosewood as well.

The proverbial hubcap is literally a hubcap from an Oldsmobile. Fun!
