1934-1936 Dobro 37-T Tenor Resonator
1934-1936 Dobro 37-T Tenor Resonator
With a nice double bound mahogany body and neck, these mid 30’s Dobro 37s, both six string and tenor, have a nice mellow tone that sits incredibly well with a voice, or in a mix. Like many guitars from the Dobro company of this era, it’s got a nice chunky neck with a V profile that sits extremely well in the hand, and the near 100 year old checking all over the body and neck give this lovely little tenor a great worn in feel. Other than the finish wear, (a significant amount of buckle rash, checking) which is definitely present but expected for a guitar of this age, this guitar is in good physical condition, maybe needing a neck reset sometime in the next decade.
The bass side sound port cover is dented in, but other than that the hardware is in good condition. The banjo style tuners are functional.
Comes with a hardshell case.
