With maple back and sides and a 1 11/16ths nut, this Martin J-65 is the closest Martin’s ever come to making a Gibson J-200, and is the perfect tonal blend between the two powerhouse brands. This particular example from 1993 is a great example, with a great open town but even projection thanks to the materials. Appointed with pearloid tuners, tortoise binding, and a nice gloss finish with a satin neck for playability.
