Wes Weinman, known for building the mandolins that Jarrod Walker, mandolinist for Billy Strings, uses on tour, made the T-24 as tribute to Will Wienman’s 1924 Loar signed F5. Not a straight up copy per say, as it has modern features such as a radius fretboard, abbreviated florida extension, and slightly bigger V neck profile, but has a vintage quality to it that’s hard to pin down but very easy to feel.

The varnish finish is super clean, except for two marks, one on the top, one on the neck, but they don’t affect playability at all. Handmade Rubner tuners that are some of the best mandolin tuners out there.
