1924 Gibson Snakehead Style A
1924 Gibson Snakehead Style A
Made just at the very tail end of Lloyd Loar’s time at the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, this “snakehead” Gibson Style A is one of the louder, more responsive oval hole A styles we’ve had. Darked stained spruce top, birch back and sides. Crack extending from the sound hole on the bass side near the neck joint that’s stable.
