With a gorgeous custom made neck by Marion Kirk for a previous owner, this old Fairbanks is a great blend of modern and new, with a modern made but vintage feeling neck that is super study and has absolutely impeccable carving, a la the old 20’s banjos (that this is!) The old 12” pot has a nice warm, loud sound that is about everything you’d want from an old open back.
